WoHoo...so glad to see my blog has not disappeared and vanished into thin air despite a super long break from blogging..as you can see from my previous update...Sept 2008...datz like 1 yr 2 mths ago. So it's quite amazing yea..i think i just like letting it die and resurrecting it again some time later. owells, so looking back at the past 1 yr, alot has changed...yes definitely too many to number.

Firstly, biggest change is that I've now stepped into another phase of life soon, which is...marriage..yup~ Feeling of being engaged is sweet and blissful..though undoubtedly it comes with pressure and stress of finance..but I believe we are able to overcome anything together..and especially with God=) I believe planning will be tough and tedious but it's once-in- a-lifetime tingy and I believe both of us really want it to be wonderful and memorable that we are able to remember for the rest of our lives~ Most importantly is for both of us to enjoy and have a pleasant experience of planning for our marriage together..that's what I feel is the most important and is the whole point in planning for the marriage yea. And of course most importantly, I'm glad I've found the love of my life and excited for the dreams we're going to fulfill together

So, finally after my exams, task for me in this short 1 mth plus hols is wedding planning~ Lots of shopping to do: Hotel shopping, dress shopping, bridal package shopping. Anyone have any good recommendations pls advise me..will be glad to listen and learn=) Haha..seems like alot of tings to do but I believe dat it'll be a fun process and journey=D..seeing not just me, but I know of many pple getting married next year~ Like 2 of my sec school ex classmates, 1 church friend etc. My cousies who are 23 years old married this year too..so seems like the trend is moving backwards...pple seem to be getting married earlier now to me

This holidays will be the last break for me before next year starts with hardcore mugging of project to finish 1 module in 6 weeks before moving on to teaching attachment in schools for 10 weeks before I finally graduate! Hoho...that one will be busy busy and busyyyy! owells, it will be good! =) So really must treasure this month of holidays and make good use of it. Other than wedding planning, I'm aiming to learn cooking and read up more..and prob learning piano from Joyce (raymond's sis) if she's free=) yea..and with christmas to busy with...I think that should be all to occupy my holidays in addition with catching up with friends dat i've not met for ages=P Yes...it'll be a fruitful holiday and I pray that all of us will end the year well with a big bang! Thank God for His grace and mercy throughout the year! =)

Here's the proposal story if you've not heard from me about it: It began on a Sunday evening when Amandia (my NIE girlfriend and bestie) dated me out for a musical at Victoria Theatre. After that, we wanted to go for supper since I was super hungry and she did not really eat much for her dinner. Raymond then called to ask if we wanted to have dinner together at the prata shop near his house and we agreed since I think it's a good supper place to go for. When we were about to reach, Amandia faked a stomachache which she drove into Kent Ridge Park to look for a toilet which I naively believed. After she 'came back', she drove on abit more before I saw Raymond beside me. I was kinda shocked as we were supposed to meet at the prata shop. Hence, I suspected and smelled something fishy. While I was being handed over to him, Amandia drove off to 'hide' I reckoned.

He brought me to this pathway where he showed me a video of UP which he edited and added in his personal message. The video is shown below:

Yea...so nearly the end of the video, I was already tearing..(how easily I tear right?=P) Anyways, after that, he brought me to walk along pathways which he lined with those tealight candles and we walked on for few minutes before we reached a big open area...some sort like a grandstand kind. Then he clicked on something and the ground lighted up with lights shaped like a house. He brought me in to sit where he played guitar and sang the song 'Xing Fu de Ju Li' by Liu Gen Hong. Wow...I was really impressed by his effort to learn the song (pple who know him should know that it's quite a feat for him=P) So it was amazing...and this was followed by the reading out of poem which he wrote for me last year. 2nd part of it was to be revealed at the end of this year during our anniv actually. The poem is attached below and it ended off with the proposal part...where he got me to stand up and he kneeled down where I started weeping like mad where my eyes almost couldn't see anything. When I said 'yes', all of our friends and family around us came out from all their hideouts all around cheering for us. This was really a great surprise and moment to remember for the rest of our lives...and that explains how I got to be engaged=)

title:{Random post...}

haha....here I am to revive this blog again..has been like dead and resurrected again..wohoo! wahaha..Well, I'm now legally 21! wohooo...been wanting to blog about my 21st bday, rach's wedding and many many things...but haven't found the time since yr 3 started.It's like krazzeeee...like really krazeee...i'm taking 7 modules with 4 tuition kids to teach at the same time. Seldom have time for rest other than work, tuition, lab reports, assignments...ahhh! haha...pardon e for all the ranting...was all too stressed up with all de work till all my pimpies popping out..hate that! Hee...but wanna thank God that He is always there in my very present time of need, giving me strength and bringing me through...I believe that I can do it, if I keep pressing on for Jesus is with me...yeah! haha...and wanna thank darrr for owayz being there for me, sharing my tears and joy with me....it's really so much better to know that I'm not alone and I have you with me always. *BIG KISS*

hee...it's gg to be 10 mths and still counting...looking forward to christmas!=D I love Christmas...coz of many reasons=P

Yea..and today pastor preached about debt management...it really enlightens and refreshes my spirit and inspire me to really keep track of my finances as I have always wanted to..but always end up forgetting to record. It needs discipline and alot of planning but I am determined to be a faithful steward of God and of my finances.

Haha...I think i'm posting very randomly but owell, they say creative pple are v random...*oops...hide in a corner* wahaha...okie..maybe i oways want to be a creative person..so I see myself as what I want to be..lol! okiedoke...now i'll let the pictures do the talking...hehe...let your eyes feast as you do a gallery walk...lol..if u find these pics nice that is=P

title:{First entry in 2008..hohoho!}

whee! it's the start of another new year 2008! lol...*wipes off spidey webbie* wahaha... To rach: lol! not dat i'm attached then no time to update..juz pure laziness=x when I realli feel like updating dat time, then dunno why the feeling went off again=x hehe~ Thank God for a wonderful 2007...think I grew alot, learnt alot, been through alot and found the person that means the world to me=) Never imagined my year will end tat way but praise God for bringing this special someone into my life. So I aim to do better in 2008, especially in my studies which I didn't quite do well for last sem. Well, all things work together for good to those that love Him. Amen! hehe...I pray for a stronger vision that You'll show me in this year and lead me to fulfill Your purpose for me=) Yea man..alot of changes since the end of last year..well, as the saying goes, Change is constant yea..so it's how we adapt to it. Hope I'll be able to handle them well=) Yea..i wanna have better time management and financial management this year too! lol...who has tuition lobangs don't forget to intro me yea? Thanks!=D Hoho..next week's recess week..time to rush assignments and finish up some work..jia you!!! haha..yea..and does anyone have young bro/sis or cousin that is between 2-8 years old? haha..i need these kids to help me in my art project~ hehe...so calling out to those who have, please tell me and I will be grateful eternally=P Well, so much for now...till I see you again..wahaha=) *P.S: Oh yea...the pics taken during my India trip's up for viewing. title:{The road is long..but i will endure and follow You till the end!}

Always after a long break from blogging, I wouldn't know what to post. Haha..owells, so life recently was pretty much normal for me..except that I'm trying to catch up with my chem mods which one of it includes spectroscopy which I don't really get the full picture what the whole thingy is about. Haha..I guess my classmates are pretty much the same as me but tink I gotta do some serious catching up coz examzzzz r around the corner... Putting academic stuffs aside, I was pretty busy with the planning and meetings for my YEP (youth expedition project) trip to Sikkim-India this dec. It is kinda like a community service trip where we go to a school in North India called Padma Odzer Choeling School (POC) to help the orphans there to improve their school facilities and help the students academically by conducting subject workshops and training for teachers. There are also lotsa activities to plan for, materials to buy, fund-raising activities to settle...so many so many..haha..but really looking forward to this trip as I believe it will impact my life and normally people have the common perspective that we are going for community service trip to help the orphans, to bless them. Well, it's true...but I believe what I will receive from the trip will be more than what they will receive from us. In other words, only by experiencing personally what the orphans are going through will we really appreciate the things we have always taken granted for. Yea...and do you guys feel like helping these orphans? Well, there's good news for you! We are selling dry fit t-shirts and postcards with inspirational phrases on them for fund-raising. Do approach me to take a look and if possible, i'll post up pics of them. Hee..hope to receive support=) hoho...seems like i'm publicizing here? Owells, it's for a good cause, so why shouldn't i?=P oyea...our project is called "Maya" which means "love" in hindi..haha..sounds so nice right...haha...so duo duo zhi chi kayz=) Oh..and did I mention I'll be away for about 24 days in Dec? Will only touch down on Christmas eve itself to catch the Christmas service...but sad thing is the rest are all extending their stay for backpacking!!! haha..though i wished to...but still, I wanna spend Christmas here..looking forward to spending it with u uu uuu. haha..yuppies..so I'll only go for a 3D RnR in New Delhi and another 2 places which they called the golden triangle. It'll include the Taj Mahal(did i spelled it correctly?) ba. Yea...and that's the team RnR which after that some will fly back to Singapore while some will go for backpacking...Well, all and all, it's all alot of preparation till then! Way to gooooo! *Lastly, gotta mug hard for the upcoming tests and exams...gambate for all de students outta dere too...jia you!=)* Shoutout to the one and only apple: I miss after tea.

haha...the lag seems uber long=x Yea..and now I think the mood to blog bout it also abit not there oreadi=x haha...the next few days were spent with celebrating with my pri sch dearies, euyee and huiling=) yuppies..and my dear np gang, porkie, wennie and gang~ thanks alot guys for de yummie treat and all da love...lastly not forgetting my dear cg members, raymond and jas who organised de wala celebration~ really had fun and hope there'll be more times like tiz wif u guys=) Below are some of the pics taken over the few days...feel free to view and drool on de food=P

Haha..yea...loonnngg time since i last blogged...and my net's been down for days so finally can use le..whee~ was contemplating to go jp for internet to do my hwk..duh rite=x haha..aniwae, tink it's my cable prob. owells, where should I start? It's been a super blessed 2 weeks for me..haha...seems like the big festivals of my life all agreed to come at the same time=P haha...triple blessings that is...

Gonna start with 26th Aug 2007, Arielle's born...hoho! a new creation in Christ...hee..In the past I was thinking that I wanna get baptised before 21, at least I get the permission of my mum then it'll be a real breakthrough yea and truly, I took a step of faith to ask..and praise God, I'm baptised before I'm 20! hee...so truly what God looks for is an action of faith and He can bring you further than what you expect Him to...just as I'm allowed to got for SOT this year which is another great breakthrough...all by the grace of God. Hallelujah!=)

Then it was 27th Aug, Team E outing! coolz..we went village at Heerens..haha..my first time there (still rmb Rach's eyes went sooooo wide!) yea..and I haven been to marshe too=P haha..food was nice...i like kenneth's spag alot! haha...and ice-cream waffles~ yummie...haha...salivating now? haha...had a great time of fellowship with my dear energetics, really glad to have such a fun bunch of ushers to serve and grow together. Haha..thanks for the beautiful sweater and the loveliee + cutie piggie card..haha...though I think they would like to see more surprised expressions, I can hardly act...haha...datz why I'm always labelled a "poor actor", can see through my acting skills any min, hor rach? haha..but heartfelt appreciations to all=)
